The testament of John Brydson wch died the xxij
of October 1598, constituted his sonne John to have his farm
his plough, his (crop) of weat one heffer in calf all tooles
belonging to the ЕЕ  as (carrs) (scadles)    It willed
that the said John and the rest of his children lawfull[y]
begotten to be Е., to the poor iij firkins wheat mault
& wheat  and oats  Е..      to his daughter Margret
one heffer calf of one year old, to his young[est] daughter
mariot one shepe, one exe, It willd (Cowley) one Е
Е.. one ewe.  It bequeathed to Е daughter iiij boules
towards their marriages, It willed that his eldest daughter
should remain in the farm during the m[arr]iage of
the said John his sonne.
